Tuttle Library Trustees Meeting
September 12, 2017 Minutes
Present: William Bryk, Colleen Giffin. Ron Haggett, Stephen Ullman, and Cynthia Jewett, Library Director
Steve moved and Bill seconded adoption of the proposed agenda. Agreed unanimously.
Ron moved and Bill seconded adoption of the Minutes from July 17, 2017 meeting. Agreed unanimously. Ron presented the monthly Treasurer’s Report. Ron reported on ongoing rehabilitation projects. The Library has appropriate financial reserves.
Ron moved and Bill seconded a motion to accept Jim Craig’s estimate on lighting the second floor display cases and to display Historical Society’s artifacts throughout the Library. Agreed unanimously.
Ron also reported progress on the Library window project. In the future, the Library may acquire energy-saving shades.
Cynthia delivered the Library Director’s report. The Trustees told her about the exceptionally positive feedback we have been receiving about her performance. Cynthia described several new on-line services the Library has acquired.
Steve moved and Bill seconded a motion to permit Karen Tatro to use the Library on November 17th -18th between 9 p.m. and 1 a.m. Adopted unanimously.
Ron moved and Steve seconded a motion to adjourn.
